Overview
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is seeking a highly motivated and organised APS6 Cyber Analyst to join its Cyber Uplift team within the Digital branch.
The Role
The role includes:
- Applying advanced cyber security knowledge to deliver technical project components
- Conducting security assessments and implementing security controls
- Providing specialist input to enable evidence-based decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
- Contributing to project planning and execution, including defining technical requirements
- Conducting security testing and preparing compliance documentation
- Delivering technical workstreams to strengthen the Commission's security posture in accordance with relevant legislation and Commission policies and procedures
- Translating complex technical analysis into clear, actionable intelligence and recommendations
- Preparing decision-ready briefings, risk assessments and options papers that inform project direction and support evidence-based security improvements
Role Requirements
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures
Eligibility
- Candidates must be an Australian citizen
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance
