Overview
The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to act as Manager, Data Engineering, accountable for the leadership, management and delivery of Data Engineering services, capabilities and initiatives.
The Role
- Lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of the Agency's data and analytics platforms
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with business and strategic objectives
- Manage delivery priorities within a complex technology environment
- Develop team capability
- Maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ensure the successful delivery and operation of data platform services
- Work collaboratively with architecture, reporting and analytics, security and business teams to deliver sustainable and high-quality outcomes for the Agency
- Contribute to the evolution of the Agency's cloud-based data and analytics environment, including Microsoft Azure, Databricks and supporting platform technologies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence
