Overview
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for planning, managing, and delivering ICT infrastructure projects across complex enterprise environments. The role is accountable for ensuring infrastructure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed scope, quality, security, and governance requirements.
The Role
The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead project teams, manage stakeholder engagement, oversee vendors and service providers, and coordinate technical resources to successfully deliver project outcomes.
The role includes:
- Development and management of project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting artefacts
- Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, operational requirements, and organisational objectives
- Supporting effective project governance, change management, implementation, and transition to operational support
- Working closely with business and technical stakeholders throughout project delivery
Projects may include cloud migrations, network upgrades, data centre transformations, end-user computing deployments, server and storage refreshes, cybersecurity initiatives, workplace technology implementations, and broader infrastructure modernisation programs.
