MR76 Myers Bluff Slope Stabilisation

⁠⁠⁠Scope:

This contract is for slope treatment works outlined below and in referenced and related supporting documents and designs. The Contractor is required to complete all activities to the required standards and expectations outlined in this document or as required by TfNSW specification or Australian Standards.

The Contractor’s scope of work comprises of all activities required to complete the tasks and activities listed herein and shown in the Drawings. Unless specifically noted otherwise, the Contractor is responsible for the full scope of works contemplated in such documents, including but not necessarily limited to:

1) Establishment, maintenance, and disestablishment of site facilities and temporary devices.

2) Supply and maintenance of temporary traffic management for all sites (including work sites, stockpile sites, disposal sites and areas identified in vehicle movement plans) at all times, including all personnel, temporary barriers, signs, signals and related items. Refer to Traffic Control at Worksites (TCAWS) Technical Manual and attached G10.

3) Supply, install and maintain environmental controls in accordance G36, G38 and the project specific MWREF’s included in this package of works.

4) Undertake vegetation clearing on the slope to the extent required to complete and maintain the works and maintain worker and public safety.

5) Construction of physical works required to stabilise and improve resilience of the slope described in Clause 1.1.1.

6) On-going maintenance of the road network within the project site (i.e. cleaning of road surface, repairs of damage to road surface or signage that introduce risk to the road user).

7) Investigation, identification and locating, and relevant supervision of utilities on site. This may include physically locating/potholing utilities and engaging with utility owners.

8) Supply of all materials, equipment, and labour required to complete all slope stabilisation works (including any testing requirements) in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and pricing schedule (including any required temporary works).

The scope of works includes supply, installation and testing of all embankment stabilisation works for slope 14376 in accordance with the supplied drawings set DS2023/000630 MR76 Waterfall Way, Myers Bluff – Slope 14376 – Slope Remediation Works as prepared by Regional Geotechnical Solutions.

The scope of all tasks required to construct the physical works, includes but not necessarily limited to:

1) Stockpile site and compound site location

2) Construction of slope treatment

3) Construction of stormwater drainage

4) Construction of stock-proof fences

5) Minor pavement repairs to resident’s driveway

6) Work completed prior to, during or after the Contract by TfNSW 

WORKING AREA

Myers Bluff Slope is located within segment 1300 on Waterfall Way, approximately 1.6km east of the Thora General Store. The slope has now regressed into the local resident’s private property, located at 2481 Waterfall Way. TfNSW is seeking approval to acquire a nominal section at the top of the slope for construction and general maintenance purposes.
