Tender Description
The Central Coast Council is seeking a qualified and experienced cleaning contractor under a Triennial Services Contract to provide professional cleaning services across Council's buildings, facilities, and community assets. The contract will run for three (3) years, with an option for one (1) year extension at Council's discretion.
The Cleaning Services Contract covers the provision of routine cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, and specialist cleaning tasks to ensure Council's facilities are clean, hygienic, and presentable for staff, tenants, and the public.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- daily, weekly, or scheduled cleaning of internal and external areas
- cleaning of floors, windows, amenities, kitchens, offices, and public areas
- waste removal
- bin servicing and recycling
- restocking consumables (e.g. soap, paper products)
- periodic cleaning tasks (e.g. carpets, high surfaces, windows)
- reporting of maintenance issues, hazards, or vandalism, compliance with Council's WHS, environmental, and site access procedures.
The Contractor must supply all necessary labour, equipment, and materials, and ensure the use of environmentally responsible cleaning products. All staff must be trained and competent, hold current National Police Checks, and comply with Council's workplace and safety requirements.
This contract will operate on a Schedule of Rates basis, with specific cleaning frequencies, task lists, and performance standards determined by Council.
