Waratah-Wynyard Council – Public Place Waste & Recycling Collection Services

⁠⁠⁠Waratah-Wynyard Council invites suitably qualified contractors to submit tenders for the provision of public place waste and recycling collection services across the municipality.

This tender seeks a capable and reliable service provider to support the ongoing cleanliness, presentation, and amenity of Council's public spaces. Council is seeking responses from tenderers who can demonstrate the capacity, experience, and flexibility to deliver the required services efficiently, safely, and in a manner that provides value for money.

Tenderers are encouraged to review the scope of services, collection frequencies, bin locations, and associated requirements outlined in the tender documentation, and to submit a proposal that demonstrates how they will meet Council's operational needs while supporting opportunities for service improvement, optimisation, and efficiency over the life of the contract.

REGISTRATION: Tender documents must be obtained after registration.

ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum.

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses must be submitted to the Electronic Tender Box. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. 

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders close at 4:00 pm AEST on Friday, 26 June 2026 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
