Overview
Health New Zealand, Northland District (the Principal) is seeking to appoint a Panel of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers of Roofing Projects & Maintenance Services (the Services) to meet its Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Project requirements.
About
The Principal owns and operates facilities associated with delivering health and disability services and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of these facilities. These hospital campuses and community facilities operate 24/7, and shutdowns of services (both utilities and clinical) need to be carefully planned and considered to minimise impacts on patients and staff.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance for roofing at the Principal's facilities
- Reactive Maintenance for roofing at the Principal's facilities
- Roofing project works at the Principal's facilities
Contractor Requirements
- Must have a presence in Northland, including personnel and equipment based in the district
- Must be able to self-deliver the Services
- Must successfully proceed through all procurement phases and subsequent contract negotiations to be admitted as a panel member
Instructions to Tenderers
Refer to the attached RFP documentation for further details. Only suppliers appointed to the panel will be able to provide in-scope services to the Northland hospitals. This procurement is being undertaken on behalf of all Northland hospitals and their community facilities.

- Whangarei hospital campus and community facilities
- Bay of Islands hospital campus and community facilities
- Dargaville hospital campus and community facilities
- Kaitaia hospital campus and community facilities
