Metro Network Safety Team

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Canterbury Regional Council is seeking a supplier to continue the successful deployment of a Metro Network Safety Team (MNST) across the Greater Christchurch public transport (PT) network.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Addressing safety and security issues across the PT network
• Acting as ambassadors for Canterbury Regional Council and the Metro PT network
• Deployment to support events impacting the Metro network, including crowd control, bus loading and passenger support

Objectives

The contract focuses on staff quality and training, with an emphasis on communication and customer service skills, supporting staff growth and progression.
