Overview
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking a Business Analyst to work within the Health Business Systems Branch as part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team defining requirements and delivering solutions to Health business systems.
The Role
The role includes:
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team to define requirements and deliver solutions to Health business systems
- Populating the product backlog via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and determine business requirements for systems
- Using a range of analysis techniques to document detailed business requirements and evaluate solution options
- Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure a common understanding of requirements
- Using analysis techniques such as user journeys, use cases, user stories with acceptance criteria, process mapping and process flow diagrams
- Facilitating discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Developing quality documentation, including requirements, epics, features and product backlog items, reports, management plans, procedure documentation and testing plans
