This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput.
The Delivery Manager is also known as an Agile Coach (EL1), focused on multi-team and workstream delivery rather than product ownership or methodology-specific coaching.
The Delivery Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end coordination and delivery of work across multiple teams and workstreams, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered on time, to quality expectations and with appropriate governance and transparency. The role sits within the Digital Communications Branch, primarily supporting delivery across the Services Australia website.
Working closely with Product Managers, technical leads, designers and stakeholders, the Delivery Manager provides clear oversight of delivery plans, dependencies, risks, sequencing and release readiness.
The role focuses on how work is delivered, ensuring teams are well coordinated, priorities are achievable, delivery trade‑offs are clearly understood and stakeholders have confidence in progress and decision‑making.
The Delivery Manager enables effective ways of working (including Agile or hybrid practices where suitable), but the role is not limited to a single methodology and does not own backlog prioritisation or product direction.
