Central Coast Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Consultant to deliver the complete detailed design for the new Regional Animal Care Facility (RACF) located at 253 Old Maitland Road, Mardi NSW 2259. The DA-approved facility is to be developed on a semi-rural site previously used as a Council plant nursery and now identified as the preferred location following concept design development and community consultation. The Consultant will be required to undertake all necessary investigations, coordinate all design disciplines, ensure compliance with legislative, building code, accessibility and animal welfare standards, and support Council through design development and the tender readiness phase.
Council intends to use this Request for Tender as the basis for awarding a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
A non-mandatory tender briefing will be held at Wyong Administration Building 2-4 Hely Street, Wyong on Thursday, 16 April 2026 at 10:00am.
Following the tender briefing, a site visit will be conducted at 253 Old Maitland Road, Mardi.
Attendance is limited to 3 representatives for each Tenderer. Pre-registration is required by emailing the Council Contact, Kellie Neville, no later than 4:00pm Friday, 10 April 2026 with the names and organisation of those attending.
