Tender Description
Improving the performance of video communications for use between a submarine and rescue forces.
This R&D activity is to investigate how to improve the performance (such as bandwidth, range and latency) of video communications between a submarine and rescue forces in the event of an emergency. The R&D should consider a variety of undersea environments, and a variety of emergency scenarios.
The R&D will need to explore the art of the possible with the communications link as well as be cognisant of the Size, Weight and Power (SWAP) issues.
