Overview
The Ministry of Health is seeking an independent reviewer or review team to assess Health New Zealand (Health NZ)'s structures, governance arrangements, processes and capability for planning, prioritising and delivering its physical infrastructure portfolio.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Assessment of Health NZ's structures, governance arrangements, processes and capability for planning, prioritising and delivering its physical infrastructure portfolio
- Review of the strategic planning that informs investment priorities
- Review of the prioritisation of physical infrastructure investment
- Review of organisational structures and capability
- Review of major-project planning and delivery
- Review of portfolio oversight, benefits and continuous improvement
Objectives
Based on the findings of the review, a clear set of options and recommendations should be provided that address and improve the delivery and performance of the health infrastructure portfolio.
