Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Isaac Regional Council is seeking a qualified, experienced contractor to carry out remediation of the Moranbah Water Treatment Plant (MBH WTP) 400ML raw water dam wall.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Remediation of the dam wall
  • Installation of a suitable material to reduce erosion risk once rectified (example: jute mesh, drainage etc)
  • Hydro mulching of the outer wall
  • Irrigation to encourage vegetation growth
  • Shaping of the road on top of the wall to direct water back to the dam (may require additional material)
  • Remediation of the gravel road to the 400ML dam to ensure safe access for construction equipment, as part of the scope of work
  • Installation of a stormwater culvert or pipe under the access road to manage runoff from the adjacent site (Lot 41) to Goonyella Road

Contractor Requirements

  • Qualified and experienced in dam wall remediation works
