Head of Programming & Partnerships - Vivid Sydney 2027 & 2028

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Destination NSW is seeking the services of a Contractor to coordinate and deliver Head of Programming & Partnerships Services for Vivid Sydney 2027 and 2028.

The Role

Destination NSW requires the provision of a Head of Programming & Partnerships, Vivid Sydney, to ensure the festival is planned and delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. The role includes:

• Responsibility for the Minds, Music, Food pillars and Partnerships areas of the festival
• Day-to-day operations of these areas, including budget management, special event management, visitor experience, and overseeing team resourcing and recruitment
• Overseeing the delivery of the program of events within the Minds, Music, Food pillars that are produced and operated directly by Destination NSW
• Ensuring appropriate guidance to, and seamless integration of, any applicable third-party produced or operated precincts, with the curators and producers of each pillar reporting into this role
• Managing the Partnerships area of the festival across both commercial and non-commercial partnerships

Position reports to

The Head of Programming & Partnerships reports directly to the Festival Director, Vivid Sydney, Destination NSW, and works collaboratively with key Vivid Sydney and Destination NSW staff.

• Contract management
