Overview
The Ministry of Education (NZ) is inviting registrations of interest from main building contractors to undertake Stage 1 window and door replacement works at Whangaparaoa College, covering Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Replacement of windows and doors throughout the college, which are at the end of their life
- Removal and disposal of existing window or door units
- Inspection and repair of timber surrounds, with all repairs recorded, notified and confirmed by contract instruction
- Supply and installation of new window or door units
- Supply and installation of new window or door hardware to match existing
- Windows and doors works through Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13, addressing issues including poor security, poor functionality, deteriorating aluminium, and general poor condition
- Removal and disposal of existing window or door units within Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13
- Inspection and repair of timber surrounds within Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13, with all repairs recorded, notified and confirmed by contract instruction
- Supply and installation of new window or door units within Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13
- Supply and installation of new window or door hardware to match existing within Blocks 8, 10, 12 and 13
