Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Shire of Carnarvon invites suitably experienced and resourced civil contractors to submit a tender for pavement reshape and stabilisation works at the Coral Bay Airstrip.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Reshaping and stabilisation of approximately 1,200 metres x 19 metres of existing airstrip pavement
  • Scarification of the existing pavement
  • Incorporation of Principal supplied Polychlor Omega
  • Moisture conditioning
  • Reshaping
  • Compaction
  • Pavement testing
  • Proof rolling
  • Final surface treatment
  • Staging and coordination of works to maintain aviation access, including emergency and aeromedical operations, within the operational airstrip environment

  • Suitably experienced and resourced civil contractor
