Release of New Owner-Operator Taxi Licences

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Building Tasmania is seeking tenders for the release of an additional 45 owner-operator taxi licences across taxi areas, including the Hobart taxi area, with a minimum reserve price, in accordance with section 23(1) of the Taxi and Hire Vehicle Industries Act 2008.

Scope

• Issue of 45 additional owner-operator taxi licences in taxi areas, including the Hobart taxi area
• Licences to be issued with a minimum reserve price by way of tender

Eligibility

• Participation in the tender is restricted to natural persons

• No tender is necessarily accepted
• Late tenders will not be considered
