Purchase 10M Tipper Truck

Hepburn Shire Council is seeking the supply of one new 10m³ bogie drive tipper truck to replace an existing 2015 Isuzu Giga CXY 455 18-speed tipper.

About

The current vehicle is a steel-bodied 10m³ tip truck primarily used for road construction and maintenance activities, including the transportation of gravel, aggregates, soil, and other construction materials.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply of one new 10m³ bogie drive tipper truck to replace the existing 2015 Isuzu Giga CXY 455 18-speed tipper
• Operation across sealed and unsealed roads, quarries, construction sites, and maintenance worksites

Contractor Requirements

• The replacement vehicle must provide equivalent or improved operational capability compared to the current vehicle
• Must be suitable for towing Council-owned trailers, including a 13.6m³ three-axle dog trailer and plant trailers up to 20-tonne capacity fitted with a Bartlett ball coupling
• Must be a robust, reliable, and heavy-duty tipper capable of supporting ongoing civil construction and maintenance programs
• Must meet current Australian Design Rules, safety standards, and emissions requirements
• Should be designed for long service life, reduced maintenance requirements, operator comfort, and efficient fleet operation
