Overview
The Department of Finance (Finance) is undertaking an Approach to Market (ATM) process to procure 2 x Senior Cloud Engineers (EL1 equivalent).
The Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, the successful candidate will:
- Provide hands-on leadership in the design, implementation and optimisation of the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) Azure environment
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation and DevSecOps practices through Azure DevOps to deliver a secure, compliant, scalable and resilient cloud solution
- Embed security controls to ensure platform configurations comply with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
- Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities to establish enduring agency ownership and operational capability
- Work closely with the PDMS Team, GSB Architects, security specialists and project stakeholders to support establishment and migration activities
- Ensure alignment with Australian Government security and architecture requirements
