Overview
WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is seeking to engage a qualified supplier to design and deliver a suite of training activities to build primary care provider capacity to recognise and respond to patients exposed to family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV), including child sexual abuse, for the Perth South PHN.
Purpose
This training is funded under the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-32 as part of a Primary Health Network (PHN) Pilot program operating across twelve PHN sites in Australia. The pilot incorporates a range of activities to enhance the primary care response to FDSV (including child sexual abuse) and to integrate primary care within the broader ecosystem of support for victim-survivors of FDSV.
Scope
- Design of a suite of training activities to build primary care provider capacity to recognise and respond to patients exposed to family, domestic and sexual violence, including child sexual abuse
- Delivery of the training activities to primary care providers
