Expression of Interest - Construction of The Proposed South Hedland Health Care Clinic

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Platt Architects (NT), on behalf of the Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation, is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified Building Contractors to undertake early contractor involvement (ECI) and construction of the proposed new South Hedland Health Care Clinic.

About

A short list of suitable Contractors will be selected from the Expressions of Interest and invited to tender for the project. The tender target date is October 2026.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Early contractor involvement (ECI) for the proposed new South Hedland Health Care Clinic
• Construction of a single storey building of approximately 1,670 sqm
• Construction on greenfield Lots 502 and 503 (to be consolidated), adjacent to the existing Clinic on Lot 500, Throssell Road, South Hedland WA

Contractor Requirements

The criteria for selection will include:

• Remote location construction experience
• Proven track record in successfully delivering similar projects
• Opportunities for local and indigenous employment and training
• Accreditation under the WHS Accreditation Scheme, established under the Federal Safety Commissioner Act 2022, is a requirement for the Builder contracted to undertake the Building Work
