Overview
Woollahra Municipal Council is requesting quotations for the provision of security services for New Year's Eve 2026-27 across seven fenced vantage sites within the municipality, supported by NSW Police.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Provision of security services across seven fenced New Year's Eve vantage sites, supported by NSW Police, from various times on 31 December 2026 to 1am on 1 January 2027
- Attendance at pre-event planning meetings with event stakeholders, including Woollahra Council staff and NSW Police
- Participation in a post-event review
Location
Security services are required at the following sites, each gated and alcohol free:
- Yarranabbe Park: maximum crowd 10,000 (View on Google Maps)

- Dumaresq Reserve: maximum crowd 250 (View on Google Maps)
- Rose Bay Foreshore: maximum crowd 2,500 (View on Google Maps)

- Redleaf Grounds and Murray Rose Pool: maximum crowd 1,000 (View on Google Maps)
