Overview
Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a contractor to redesign and construct the dip yards at the Emerald Saleyards, which operates a clearing dip servicing thousands of cattle each year.
Purpose
Council's current objective is to upgrade existing areas and utilise spaces to improve overall operational use and provide a safer and more reliable working environment.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Construction works to add gates to the Emerald Saleyards dip area, based on Council's provided draft/concept drawings
- Replacement of the current 90-degree passages with pull down portable panels
- Construction works to optimise cattle flow and accessibility through the dip area
