Overview
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Evaluation of potential Prunus rootstocks for almond production - Stage 4 (AL26002).

Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Objectives
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Evaluate the performance of prunus rootstocks under differing Australian growing environments
- Develop a comprehensive data package that supports the validation of rootstock performance and grower confidence in rootstock selection
- Publish grower resources to communicate key rootstock performance data and support decision making for Australian almond growers
- Reduce the risk associated with adopting new rootstocks with availability of rootstock performance data in the major Australian almond growing regions
