Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Waimakariri District Council is seeking a contractor to undertake the civil works component of the Kippenberger/Elm Green Playground Development. This procurement plan covers the civil works only; procurement of the playground equipment is covered separately under VP2026-109.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Construction of a 1.2 m mound for access to the flying fox
  • Construction of 193 m2 of concrete footpaths
  • Construction of 6 garden beds including plantings
  • Construction of 6 tree pits including tree installation
  • Construction of 105 m of new post and cable fence including vehicle entrance
  • Construction of 74 m of subsoil drain
  • Construction of all soft fall areas for play equipment
  • Supply and installation of 3 bike racks and one litter bin
