Overview
Gympie Regional Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to establish schedule rates and pricing for the delivery of in-situ pavement stabilisation works within the Gympie Regional Council local government area.
Purpose
The works form part of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) 2026/27 reseal preparation program and are required to improve pavement condition, structural performance, and long-term asset durability prior to the application of reseal treatments.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Establishment of schedule rates and pricing for in-situ pavement stabilisation works
- Pavement stabilisation activities on the Wide Bay Highway
- Pavement stabilisation activities on Gympie Woolooga Road
- Provision of a sound and uniform pavement platform suitable for subsequent resealing operations under the 2026/27 program
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and experienced in delivering pavement stabilisation works
- Ability to undertake stabilisation works in accordance with the project specifications
- Compliance with relevant TMR standards
- Compliance with all applicable legislative and safety requirements
