Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The City of Wagga Wagga is seeking a contractor to carry out the refurbishment of the existing stage and orchestra pit at the Civic Theatre.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Refurbishment of the existing stage and orchestra pit at the Civic Theatre
  • Supply and installation of new floor finishes and stage components
  • Installation of new lighting and associated electrical works
  • Carpeting the orchestra pit with commercial-grade carpet tiles
  • Replacing stair carpet to match the existing finish
  • Installing compliant emergency signage
  • Supplying and installing new stage traps
  • Providing recessed LED stage-edge lighting and illuminated stair lighting
  • Carrying out all electrical works in full compliance with relevant Australian Standards and legislative requirements

Site Inspection

A second site inspection will be held to allow subcontractors and prospective contractors who were unable to attend the initial pre-tender briefing to view the site and gain a firsthand understanding of the works required.
