Overview
The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety (QLD) is seeking quotes from one service provider to deliver Connecting Kin (T210) and Equipping Kin (T211) services across the South East Region (region wide service).
Scope
The scope includes:
- Delivery of Connecting Kin (T210) services, responsible for targeted family mapping and engagement leading to new family connections or family members applying to be assessed as kinship carers (engagement focused)
- Delivery of Equipping Kin (T211) services, responsible for supporting initial kinship carer assessments, including provisional approval assessments, and providing all necessary supports to have kinship carers approved so they can commence caring (assessment focused)
- Working in conjunction with current regional Child Safety Finding Kin teams where applicable
