Overview
The Department of Health (TAS) is seeking a Principal Contractor for building upgrade and office fitout works at 186-192 Brisbane Street, Launceston. This procurement supports the delivery of the Health Information Services (HIS) Relocation Project, which involves relocating HIS from Level 2 of the Launceston General Hospital to 186-192 Brisbane Street, Launceston.
Scope
The scope includes:
- A substantial building upgrade and office fitout within an existing multi-storey commercial building
- Significant demolition and strip-out of existing internal elements
- Structural modifications
- Construction of new internal spaces to support HIS operations
