Overview
The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety (QLD) is seeking a service provider to deliver Supporting Kin and Supporting Foster Care services for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the North Queensland Region, Townsville.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Supporting Kin (T212) services: supporting approved kinship carer households, including provisional approved carers
- Supporting all ongoing kinship carer assessments and renewals
- Focusing supports for kinship care households to support care arrangements and help ensure families remain caring for as long as required, with a retention focus
- Supporting Foster Care (T214) services: supporting approved foster carer households, including provisional approved carers
- Supporting all ongoing foster carer assessments and renewals
- Focusing supports for foster carer households to support care arrangements and help ensure foster carers remain engaged and caring for as long as possible, with a retention focus
- Responding to care arrangement requests via Unify
- Managing up-to-date foster care agreements
- Supporting care arrangement matching with the pool of approved foster carers
