Darwin - Provision of Cleaning Services at Holtze Youth Detention Centre for a Period of 12 Months

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Department of Corrections, Youth Justice is seeking a suitable contractor to undertake cleaning services at the Holtze Youth Detention Centre for a period of 12 months.

Scope

The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following services:

• General cleaning in staff office areas and common areas
• Cleaning of classrooms and young people's common areas
• Bio-hazard cleaning
• Emergency cleaning as required

Contractor Requirements

• Availability to clean parts of the Centre seven (7) days a week
• Ability to commit to cleaning the Centre in the hours after 5.00 p.m.
• Ability to provide a high quality cleaning service within the Centre as outlined in the Request for Tender document
• All cleaners attending the Centre must hold a current Working with Children's Card

Contract Terms and Conditions

• The new contract will commence on 1 December 2026
• Contract period of 12 months
