⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Hills Shire Council is seeking a contractor for the design and construction of bank stabilisation retaining structures at River Road CH20040, Leets Vale, and River Road CH29610, Wisemans Ferry.

Purpose

Severe storm and flood events in 2021 and 2022 caused progressive failure of the River Road riverbank, resulting in progressive failure of River Road and the river embankment. The project seeks to stabilise the failed embankment, carry out drainage work, and undertake road pavement work.

Scope

The scope includes:

  • Design and construction of bank stabilisation retaining structures at River Road CH20040, Leets Vale
  • Design and construction of bank stabilisation retaining structures at River Road CH29610, Wisemans Ferry
  • Stabilisation of the failed embankment
  • Drainage work
  • Road pavement work
