Standard Offer Arrangement - Wound Care, Bandages & Dressings

Queensland Health is developing a competitive Invitation to Offer (ITO) to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for wound care consumables, including bandages and dressings, across Queensland's 16 Hospital and Health Services.

Purpose

The proposed SOA will consolidate two legacy arrangements, SOA274 and SOA286, into a single Standing Offer Arrangement for wound care consumables.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply of wound care consumables, bandages and dressings under a Standing Offer Arrangement
• Consolidation of the existing SOA274 and SOA286 arrangements into a single arrangement
• Coverage across Queensland's 16 Hospital and Health Services

Queensland Health has clarified the status of this publication. This is an Industry Announcement provided for information only. It is not an Invitation to Offer (ITO), Expression of Interest (EOI) or Request for Information (RFI), and suppliers are not required to submit any response in relation to this announcement.

The closing date displayed (3 September 2026, 5:00 pm AEST) is not a submission deadline. It reflects only the period this announcement remains available for viewing within the tendering portal. No supplier action is required before this date, and any automated wording requesting a response should be disregarded.

The formal ITO will be released as a separate publication at a later date. It will include all requirements relating to supplier submissions, evaluation criteria, product sample requirements (if applicable), submission instructions and procurement timeframes. In the meantime, suppliers are encouraged to review this announcement and the indicative volumes to prepare ahead of the formal ITO.
