Dorset Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant, by way of quotations, to undertake and prepare a comprehensive master plan for the town of Scottsdale, Tasmania.

About

Scottsdale has a population of approximately 2,400 residents and is the largest town in North East Tasmania. It serves as the administrative and service hub for the Dorset Municipality.

Purpose

The Master Plan will serve as the strategic framework to guide Scottsdale's future development. It will ensure the town meets current and future community, business and industry needs, enhancing community liveability, driving economic growth and reinvigorating the northeast region by reducing barriers and maximising opportunities within the community. It will plan for the growth of Scottsdale as a well-integrated and sustainable township that is an attractive and vibrant place to live across multiple generations and life stages.
