Northern Beaches Council is inviting tenders for the provision of Services for Fire Protection Systems and Equipment, covering planned programmed maintenance and reactive maintenance services.

About

Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community. Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect the environment.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of fire protection systems and equipment services on a planned program basis in accordance with Australian Standards
• Reactive maintenance services from 1 December 2026
• Planned preventative maintenance of nominated assets at sites as detailed in Part E Attachments
• Nonexclusive reactive works on nominated assets
• Reporting of response times for reactive works

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Contract term: 36 months
• Extension option: 2 one-year periods, at Council's discretion

Weighted Criteria

• Schedules F3, F5, F7, F9 (Business, Performance, Quality Assurance, Environmental Sustainability and Social Equity): 15%
• Schedules F10 and F11 (demonstrated experience of Key Personnel and Subcontractors): 15%
• Schedules F14 and F15 (Proposed Methodology, including PPM process and response times): 30%
• Schedule F18 (Schedule of Fees): 40%

Lodgement

Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099, by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
