Safety Footwear

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting offers from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for the supply and delivery of safety footwear to support Council's organisational Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Purpose

The purpose of this tender is to establish a new supply arrangement to replace the current contract, which expires on 9 October 2026. The new arrangement will ensure the ongoing provision of high quality, fit for purpose safety footwear for Council employees across a range of operational environments, including construction, maintenance, parks, waste services, and other field based activities.

Scope

Council requires a supplier (or suppliers) capable of providing:

• Safety footwear range, including steel cap boots, composite toe boots, slip resistant footwear, waterproof options, and specialty footwear suitable for diverse work conditions
• Consistent supply and delivery, including reliable stock availability, timely delivery to multiple Council locations, and the ability to fulfil urgent or ad hoc orders; Council will keep some boots onsite and other boots the supplier will be required to keep in store or supply within a short timeframe
• Quality and compliance, with products meeting or exceeding relevant Australian Standards (AS 2210 series) and demonstrating durability, comfort, and safety performance
• Customer service and support, including responsive communication, warranty support, product advice, and issue resolution
• Value for money, including competitive pricing, transparent cost structures, and opportunities for efficiencies or innovation

Council prefers a single supplier arrangement with the ability to meet the full scope of requirements and is offering a discount for all other ad hoc purchases not listed as part of Council's approved list of safety boots.

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Council makes no commitment to purchase any minimum or maximum quantity, or dollar volume of supply

Tender response forms are to be submitted as two files only, in the following format:

• Non-Price Response Form: PDF including all supporting documentation as one file; this PDF must not contain any price related criteria
• Price Response Form: Excel

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in a non-conforming offer.
