Up to 12 Senior Business Analyst

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet is seeking up to 12 experienced senior Business Analysts to undertake business analysis activities on IT projects and initiatives. There are a variety of roles to fill across different teams.

The Role

Strategic Senior Business Analysts

• Significant experience in discovery, collaboration and engagement with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to deliver Human-Centered Design artefacts (e.g. Personas, User Journeys), process models and other supporting artefacts

Senior Data Business Analysts

• Experience in investigating corporate data requirements, designing complex data models, and mapping data flows across disparate, interconnected systems
• Experience in supporting the adoption of data analytics or AI solutions will be highly regarded

Senior Technical Business Analysts

• Experience in developing detailed requirements for implementation of protected public cloud tenants/platforms and operational capability to govern and operate at scale, with a strong agile delivery focus developing the required artefacts in close consultation with technical stakeholders
• Experience in delivery of Cloud solutions, Identity and Access Management solutions, M365 services and applications, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange and M365 Copilot will be highly regarded

Role Requirements

• Significant prior experience in analysis, discovery and delivery for large scale federal government project/program delivery
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, agile practices, backlog management, and delivery of high-quality artefacts in alignment with their role
• Extensive experience in capturing and refining requirements written as Epics, Features and User Stories and managing their delivery in MS Azure DevOps (or similar)
