Tender Description
Overview
Mildura Rural City Council is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified contractors to undertake civil construction works associated with the Footpath Program - Merbein - Commercial Street project.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Demolition of existing pram ramps
- Site preparation
- Construction of reinforced concrete footpaths
- Construction of new pram ramps complete with Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI)
- Landscaping and reinstatement works
- Post-project site clean-up
Works are to be carried out in accordance with the Contract Specifications and Drawings.
Site Inspection
A site inspection with Council is available on request via the online forum. Inspections are recommended but not mandatory.
Instructions to Tenderers
- Completed responses can only be submitted electronically by uploading into the System
- Respondents will receive a confirmation email upon completion of submission
- Submissions must be fully received by the closing time, as late submissions will not be accepted
- Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit
- All responses must be made by online submission; responses made by any other means, including open email, facsimile, post, or in person, will not be considered
