Employee Assistance Program

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), in collaboration with The Royal Women's Hospital (RWH), invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit proposals for the provision of comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.

About

RMH is leading the procurement process on behalf of both health services. RMH and RWH intend to enter into separate agreements with the successful Respondent, reflecting their respective service models and operational requirements.

This procurement is being conducted as a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is listed as a Request for Tender (RFT) on the Buying for Victoria platform solely because an RFP classification is not available.

Scope

The successful Respondent will provide confidential, accessible and high-quality support to the diverse workforces of RMH and RWH, comprising more than 12,000 employees collectively.

The scope includes:

• Short-term counselling
• 24/7 crisis support
• Critical incident response
• Manager assistance
• Family violence support
• Onsite counselling
• Digital resources
• Reporting
• Account management
• Employee wellbeing initiatives

The service model must accommodate the operational requirements of two major public health services, including a geographically dispersed, culturally diverse and predominantly non-desk-based workforce operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• Suitably qualified and experienced in delivering Employee Assistance Program services
