Hydro Pneumatic Tank

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Monadelphous is seeking a supplier for the design (where required), supply, manufacture, factory acceptance testing, transport to site, and commissioning support of a Hydro Pneumatic Tank.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply of one (1) x 100% potable water Hydro Pneumatic Tank (vertical, bladder type, stainless steel) with bladder, complete with associated inlet and outlet nozzles, safety valve, fittings, and instruments
• Supply of nozzles, drains, vent, lifting lugs, access ladder, and other miscellaneous items necessary to allow proper operation and maintenance of the tank
• Checking of connections and piping nozzle orientation by the subcontractor prior to fabrication
• Supply of one (1) pressure safety valve in accordance with AS 1271, and other devices mounted on the tank necessary for protecting the equipment
• Supply of tank internals, inlet and outlet nozzles, drain nozzles, and spare nozzles
• Supply of all required instrumentation with isolation valves, comprising one pressure indicator and one pressure transmitter
• Supply of a skid mounted junction box with local termination (junction box to DCS cabling is contractor scope)
• Provision of all cabling between supplier equipment
• Provision of any special tooling required during installation and commissioning
• Supply of manholes/handholes with gaskets, hinges, and safety devices as necessary
• Provision of corrosion protection treatment for transportation and site installation if required
• Supply of anchor bolts and nuts with washers (hot dip galvanised)
• Supply of all counter flanges, gaskets, bolts, nuts, and washers for flange connections
• Supply of one set of nameplates and identification labels
• Provision of start up and commissioning spares and consumables
• Provision of all special tooling required for installation, operation, and maintenance

Location

The project is located at the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant (BPPP), within the Kogan Creek Clean Energy Hub, near the existing Kogan Creek Power Station (KCPS) and Powerlink Banana Bridge Substation, approximately 30km east-southeast of Chinchilla in Queensland's Western Downs region.
