St Patricks Primary School, Cessnock – Quadrangle Upgrade

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland Newcastle (CDMN) invites Respondents to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Quadrangle Upgrades at St Patricks Primary School Cessnock, as per the terms and conditions set out in the EOI. In participating in the EOI process and submitting an EOI, the Respondent agrees to be bound by this EOI.

About

The Diocese of Maitland Newcastle represents the Catholic Church in a region extending from Lake Macquarie to Taree and as far inland as Merriwa and Murrurundi. A diocese is a community of Christ's faithful, representing a portion of the people of God in a particular area entrusted to a Bishop. The CDMN is committed to a vision in which current and future Catholic school needs are energetically met.

Purpose

The EOI is based on transforming the school's COLA environment into a modernised, flexible, and engaging learning and gathering space. Collectively, the proposed improvements will deliver a revitalised quadrangle precinct that supports education, recreation, school assemblies, performances, and community engagement, while improving accessibility, safety, and the overall student experience.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Construction of a new outdoor learning area
• Construction of a dedicated assembly space and stage equipped with contemporary audiovisual (AV) technology to support school events, presentations, and community activities
• Refurbishment of the existing basketball courts to improve functionality, safety, and recreational opportunities for students
• Installation of new balustrades to the adjacent building
• Creation of breakout learning and collaboration areas on Level 2 of the adjacent building

Instructions to Respondents

All submissions must be collated into a single (1) PDF file. Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box, and Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated, upon completion.

The Diocese of Maitland Newcastle is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender, or all or any part of a Tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
