Tender Description
Overview
The University of Auckland is seeking to purchase a high-quality contained ultrasound simulator. This device will be used to train year 3 and year 5 MBChB students in the use of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Supply of a portable ultrasound simulator for training purposes
- Provision of the Ob/Gyn simulation modules only, noting the simulator is also capable of simulating ultrasound of non-reproductive organs
This is not an ultrasound machine and does not require patients or actors. The simulator uses software to simulate patients.
