Supply and Installation of Accoustic Curtains for Residents - North-South Corridor: Torrens to Darlington section

⁠⁠⁠Overview

T2D Alliance (SA) is seeking a subcontractor to supply and install acoustic curtains for residents along the North-South Corridor: Torrens to Darlington section. The subcontractor shall provide all labour, materials, plant, equipment, supervision, transport, consumables, and incidentals necessary to complete the works.

Scope

Locations

• Property owner details will be provided by T2D CJV to arrange appointments unless otherwise advised
• Works will be undertaken at multiple residential properties within the Project alignment
• Locations will be issued progressively by T2D CJV representatives
• Property numbers and installation sequencing will vary depending on resident eligibility and program requirements

Pre-installation Activities

• Availability to undertake pre-installation activities outside business hours if required
• Attending properties as directed by T2D CJV to measure windows and openings
• Assessing site conditions, access constraints, and fixing requirements
• Confirming curtain configuration, fixing method, and installation approach
• Providing documentation detailing installation locations and any pre-existing defects
• Submitting quotations based on measurements and agreed specifications unless otherwise advised by T2D CJV

Supply of Acoustic Curtains

• Supply of multi-layered acoustic curtain systems, including a mass-loaded barrier layer (e.g. mass loaded vinyl or equivalent) for sound transmission loss, an internal absorptive layer to improve sound absorption, a block-out/lining layer on the window side to reduce light spill and sound leakage, and a suitable residential-grade outer fabric
• Supply of acoustic curtains meeting Principal requirements, including blackout properties where required, durable fabric, suitable colour and finish for residential use, and compliance with relevant Australian Standards
• Supply of all associated components, including tracks, fixings, brackets, pelmets (if required), and ancillary materials
• Ensuring all materials are new and fit for purpose
