Lower Piako River Right Bank Pipiroa to Ngatea Stopbank Upgrade Stages 2, 3 and 4

Waikato Regional Council invites tenders for the Lower Piako River Right Bank Pipiroa to Ngatea Stopbank Upgrade Stages 2, 3 and 4. This tender is for the upgrade of a section of the Piako River flood protection stopbank between Pipiroa and Ngatea.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Upgrading the height of 1,625m of stopbank
• Shifting 3,356m of stopbank that is too close to the river edge

Contractor Requirements

• Capacity, capability, experience and resources to deliver the project on time and within budget
• A good track record on health and safety and environmental management

Site Inspection

A compulsory site inspection will be held for this opportunity.

• Attendance: Mandatory

Attendance is mandatory to ensure all tenderers have viewed the site, understood the associated hazards and issues associated with the site and project, and have an opportunity to ask questions of Council's Operations staff and Project Manager about the project. Tenders received from tenderers who do not attend the compulsory site inspection will not be evaluated by Council.
