Crown Law Office is inviting proposals from Professional Conference Organisers to deliver the Government Legal Network (GLN) Conference for 2027, 2028, and 2029, with two options to extend for one year each.

Purpose

Crown Law Office needs a partner to work with it for the next 3 to 5 years to manage the logistics of its annual one-day conference for government lawyers. Crown Law will manage the content, while the appointed provider will manage the details and keep the event on track.

Objectives

The desired outcome is an engaging conference where members of the GLN make good connections and receive updates on a range of legal topics.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Managing the logistics of the annual one-day GLN Conference for government lawyers
• Delivering the conference over one day, usually based in Wellington
• Coordinating multiple keynote and session speakers, including some break-out sessions
• Supporting a conference that counts towards lawyers' continuing education annual requirements
• Accommodating recent conference attendance levels of approximately 500 to 600 attendees, including around 180 attending online

Contractor Requirements

• A good track record of delivering conferences to professional groups

Contract Terms and Conditions

• Services to be delivered for the 2027, 2028, and 2029 conferences
• Two options to extend the agreement for one year each
