Tender Description
ASC and BAE Systems have been selected to build and deliver Australia's SSN-AUKUS submarines, as part of the SSN-AUKUS Build Program (AUKUS Pillar 1, Phase 3). The AustralianSSN-AUKUS submarines will be built in Osborne, South Australia.
The SSN-AUKUS Build Program is one of the most significant industrial undertakings in Australia's history and will require an unprecedented industrial transformation. ASC and BAE Systems have been working to identify opportunities and the pathway for Australian industry to contribute to this national endeavour.
Following on from the inaugural AUKUS National Supplier Conference held in Adelaide in March, and the recent SSN-AUKUS Build Program Update in Perth, Australian industry is invited to register to attend one of our upcoming SSN-AUKUS Build Program Update events:
• Brisbane (venue to be confirmed) – Wednesday 5 August 2026
• Hunter Valley Defence Conference (Rydges Hunter Valley) – Tuesday 25 August 2026
• Melbourne (venue to be confirmed) - Wednesday 9 September 2026
• Hobart (venue to be confirmed) – Tuesday 29 September 2026
These sessions will provide an overview of emerging opportunities, how industry can engage with the Program, and the opportunity to network with key stakeholders from both ASC and BAE Systems. The sessions are also supported by Australian Industry Group and the Defence Industry Hub (formerly ODIS).
