Testers examine and report on the responsiveness and stability of systems and their components under workloads.
The role will place you as a Senior Test Engineer within the DVA ecosystem.
Senior Test Engineers ensure that ICT solutions improve quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements and are fit for business purpose. Senior Test Engineers ensure that all test effort activities are effectively completed and carried out in accordance with agreed test guidelines.
Senior Test Engineers work under the limited direction of senior staff. They exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. Decision making is dependent on judgement, skills and knowledge. Senior Test Engineers manage and organise their own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and innovative improvement strategies.
The role will involve having or the ability to gain knowledge of Services Australia’s software development lifecycle, tools, services, deployment procedures and cyber security policies as well as industry best practices. You will work closely with Software Architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Analysts and Developers
