Provision Of Internal Audit Services

⁠⁠⁠The Municipal Council of Roxby Downs invites suitably qualified and experienced providers to submit a tender for the provision of Internal Audit Services.

Council is seeking an independent and objective internal audit provider to support its governance, risk management and internal control framework. The successful respondent will be responsible for delivering a risk-based internal audit program, providing assurance and recommendations to Council, the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit and Risk Committee on the effectiveness of Council’s governance, financial management, compliance and operational processes.

The engagement will require the provision of specialist internal audit expertise, including the development and delivery of an internal audit work plan, the conduct of audits across key risk areas, and the reporting of findings and recommendations to management and the Audit and Risk Committee.

Council is committed to maintaining strong governance practices and seeks a provider with demonstrated experience in the local government sector, a robust audit methodology, and the capability to deliver services in accordance with relevant professional standards and legislative requirements.
