Tender Description
The Council invites Request for Tender Submissions for the design and construction of fencing and netting infrastructure upgrade at David Campese Oval, 1b Yass Road Queanbeyan. Tenders must comply in all respects with the Conditions of Tendering.
The Queanbeyan-Palerang Local Government Area is approximately 5300 sq km and is home to about 64,000 residents. The Council consists of a Mayor elected by the voters and nine other councillors. Council's day-to-day operations are overseen by the General Manger who is supported by four Directors. Council employs approx. 500 staff who undertake a range of services. This has been identified as a priority project for Council through the QPRC Sports Facilities Strategic Plan 2024.
Design and site investigations throughout the 2026 Rugby Union season with consultation with the Queanbeyan Whites.
Construction to commence once 2026 season is complete and must be completed by end of March 2027.
